RLEFQ wants to remind our wholesale clients of the specific restrictions we impose on the resale of our coffee and the service of beverages:

• All coffee must be ground fresh immediately before brewing.
• You may not sell our coffee ground; whole bean only. If customers do not have a grinder, or cannot afford a grinder for home use, you may not sell them RLEFQ branded coffee.
• Please follow the grinding and tamping guidelines in your RL coffee retailer booklet. All barístas must be capable of the physical requirements or they are not allowed to serve RL coffees. This includes the requirement that the barísta height shall be 36" taller than the counter surface. We prefer you meet the grooming and appearance suggestions as well, including certain minimums for physical attractiveness.
• Limitations on your beverage menu were part of the contract you signed to be a retailer, and to serve our exquisite coffees. Please go over these with all your staff:
  • No flavoring additives
  • No "triple espresso"
  • No iced coffee beverages
  • No questions about the price
  • No requests for specific Latté art.
  • No "custom drinks"
  • No "raw sugar" or sugar substitutes No honey
  • No cocoa powder toppings
  • No wood stir sticks
• There are specific reasons for these rules. No questions about their implementation. RLEFQ employs a "secret shopper" service to verify rule implementation.
